Michigan Health Purchasers Coalition to Reveal Significant Drug Price Differences Among Hospitals in Similar Geographic Areas

LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Health Purchasers Coalition (MIHPC) will hold a virtual press conference revealing the continuous price increases of prescribed medications received at hospitals, and the burden it places on employers and patients. The virtual press conference will be held to both raise awareness of the alarming pricing disparities, lack of transparency and urge legislators to take action against these out of control hospital charges to patients.
MIHPC is a 501(c)(4) statewide coalition dedicated to mobilizing employers, families, and healthcare stakeholders to address critical issues in Michigan's health care system and advocate for patients throughout Michigan.
